Create hacks to help environmental, charitable, gender-based and personal challenges.

Alright students, it’s time to take everything you’ve learned throughout this semester and apply it towards a real life project. Bellow, you will find several projects of which you may select upwards of two: one to work on individually and one to work on with a group of no more than 3 people.

Any and all current EF Academy students who register with mentors on May 19th. 


You will be expected to create a ‘hack’ for your selected challenge/s in order to address the issue provided. You will have the opportunity to work on this both, in class and during your spare time. Projects will be due at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 2nd after which, you will present your projects to a set of judges. You will be judged on the following criteria:


  • Technical Difficulty
  • Addressing of the challenge provided
  • Pitch + Presentation
  • Overall marketing/business plan


Judges will then debate, select winners and distribute prizes.

How to enter

In order to enter students must register on May 19th with mentors. Students who do not register with mentors will not be elligable to participate.
